It is creature most stunning and alluring. It is one that possesses a great mind capable of dreaming beyond the stars. It descendant that occupies most of planet earth is so immersed with activities that it barely has time to breathe. This is man, and it has always been captivated with the wonders of nature. In its early attempts replication of scenes were done by hand thru painting. Now images are captured in a wink of an eye using a camera. Photography enthusiasts love to go shoot pictures for African wildlife photo gallery.

As stated above, people are entangled in a web of activities that demand so much from its body. People are addicted with money and will eliminate others just accumulate more. But most are engaged in healthy occupations and have jobs in office buildings and manufacturing plants. The sturdy ones prefer to stay and work in the fields producing crops to feed the population.

With all the hustle and bustle going on in present societies it is no surprise that a person gets tired at the end of a working day. Rest is needed and food is required to replenish the spent energy. Periodic rest periods during the week give ample time for relaxation with blood relatives. Leisure time is spent doing various activities that give positive vibes.

Contingent upon the nature of an individual, hobbies are plentiful. Reading is one of them. But mostly it involves pleasurable experience and a feeling of accomplishment. This is true especially for hobbies that are timeless. Bonsai gardening is becoming popular as a person learns how to control plant growth by means of wires and branch cutting.

Ancient peoples translated what it admired in nature by drawing it. The earliest known example of this are the cave painting found in the Iberian Peninsula. This progressed with the addition of pigments that gave life to the representations. During the middle ages techniques were perfected by masters who studied materials and methods for painting.

The most common subject in painting always has something to do with the natural world. Beautiful sceneries captivated the attention and the desire to copy it found full expression during the renaissance period. Great painting works were done during this period. At present these masterpieces are so expensive that only museums and super rich private collectors can acquire it.

The drawback with paintings is that it takes an artist with considerable skill to produce one and it took time as materials had to be prepared like easels, the surface medium, the brushes, and the paint. In certain point the imagery becomes inaccurate as the artist infuses imagery from the mind either to hide something or to accentuate something.

Along came the camera and everything change. Events and special occasions can now be captured in seconds. Early cameras were bulky and very expensive as it was still not mass produced. The system involved stands, fireworks, and film held in place inside the box with arranged lenses that captured light and imagery. Early photographs were in white and black.

Today the cell phone has become and ordinary piece of image capturing gadget. Capturing faces by the self is as common as breathing air. Almost all adults have this gadget in one form or another. But for serious enthusiast, the digital camera is the preferred instrument. It is expensive and sophisticated. Image capturing has become so easy in this modern world of today.
