Invitations - The cost of invitations with some postage fees for mailing needs to be considered.

Place of the Event - The place or venue is an important consideration. Other fees that management might charge at the last minute may be unnecessary. If the venue already includes the tables and chairs as part of the package, then it is much more affordable than an empty rented space. When considering your home as the venue, you need to tackle expenses of equipment rental and other miscellaneous.

Food Expenses - You need to plan -out your menu. Make a thorough list of the ingredients needed that is apt to your budget. When considering to use a caterer, do not just stick to one caterer and make sure to state your revolving budget. Ask from two or more caterers and compare their rates.

Drinks and Refreshments - Include other expenses related to it like ice, cost of cups and other charges.

Miscellaneous - You need to put a miscellaneous expense as part of your total budget.

Decor- Any decorations needed; lights, flowers, candles and props.

Party Activities and Entertainment - This will also involve some expense since prizes and even equipment rentals may be required.

Entertainers and Musicians - Entertainers are important to provide fun and laughter to any event, so a budget for this is necessary.

Party Favors - Allocate budget fort party favors within the $1.00 range.

Revolving Fund - This is an important part of budgeting and at least set 10% as revolving fund for emergency expenses from your total budget.

The second thing is, set the date. Consider your work and personal schedule so you can plan well. You also need to take into account holidays so you will know if invitees will be attending or not.

The third thing that you need to consider is the theme of the party. Parties with themes show a distinction. It will be easier to set a uniformity based on the theme in preparing food, decorations and favors. Take for example these events like: Mardi Gras, Casino Nights, Tropical theme, Western theme and a lot more!

Step 4 Pick a Venue There are so many places you can hold your event - Home, a church hall or a specialty location. This can take up a huge part of your budget so shop carefully. If you are using a venue that is furnishing napkins/table settings and other items, ask to see them to make sure they meet your standards.

Lastly, you can now, make your Guest List, which is also very important.

With these simple tips that can prove to be helpful, there is no stopping a fantastic affair to materialize!
