Amongst the many companies in the gaming world today, I have to believe that Capcom is the one looking the worst from a financial standpoint. It's unfortunate because this is the same entity that has brought light to Street Fighters and Resident Evil, just to name a few. If better strategies aren't created, it is very likely that the company will not last much longer. That being said, could Long Island SEO efforts have been done in order to make matters better for those involved in this particular company?
It was recently reported that Capcom has $152 million dollars in the bank, which isn't a whole lot of money for a company like this in gaming. You have to keep in mind that production costs are not exactly cheap and the same can be said for advertising efforts, whether you are talking about Long Island SEO or what have you. Keep in mind that Nintendo made a bit more than that over the course of 3 months; again, not a whole lot of money. What can firms like fishbat do in order to assist Capcom?
First of all, there should be more focus brought on what the fans have been clamoring for as opposed to what vision Capcom has. For example, Capcom has done nothing short of shill out one Street Fighter title after another with only a few minor alterations made in between. Meanwhile, fans have been looking forward to a new Mega Man game, yet Capcom did not deliver. It's an understatement to say that problems occur when the user base of any company is not taken into consideration.
Capcom went on record by saying that it was looking into producing more DLC in order to help turn the company around. When I saw this, I couldn't help but to shake my head because this was one of the many gripes fans have had in terms of this company. Why would they want to continue to work with a concept that has done nothing more than raised the ire of gamers? It seems like something that would drive consumers away as opposed to bring them in.
Capcom currently finds itself in financial straits and it's tough to say whether or not they'll be able to help themselves out of it. It's a terrible financial crisis, to say the least, and it's sad because I believe that they could have been able to avoid the problem in question. What if Capcom did more to listen to the fans as opposed to bring out lazily done projects, one after another? Whatever the case may be, Capcom has to work hard if it wants to earn back consumer trust.
