A special type of blanket called as minky blanket, is known to be a type of plush fabric blanket. This kind of blanket is like fleece. Softer and thicker to provide a comfy feeling for the baby.

Getting this from stores and boutiques will surely cost you big. Spending your money for a blanket is not reasonable. You want to keep your money but at the same time you want to provide the best blanket for your baby, here is the answer to your problem. Why not make your own good minky comforter.

Provide a yard of printed cotton woven, a yard of minky fiber, a string to connect and a embroidering materials. Provide the mentioned materials first before starting. To begin with, laundry and dry your cloth then after use drying, iron it with a warm temperature.

It is up to you to how big or small your comforter will be. Divide the minky you have prepared in making more than one lining. Dissect them to your preferable dimension and size. Better to tear the fabric than to use a pair of scissor in cutting it. Hold the opposite side and start tearing it. Leave extra space or allowance for adjustments and use ruler to see the proper measure of your cloth.

After cutting them both, lay them together now by putting the printed part down and the soft part up. You need to put them at the right position to make the expected result. Before removing the unneeded part, make sure to put some pins to avoid adjustments.

Thereafter, sew them together and remove the pins attached. Do not forget to apply the back stitch. Measure about up to three inches, serve this a space or the opening side.

Pull out the bed lining after finishing the embroidering part. Take out everything through the hole side that you left. Do your finishing touches now by making sure to remove the edges and closing the hole. Close everything and do not put any extra spaces. You can use an iron to press down the lining to make them flat.

After doing all those process. It depends to how fast you are, but for sure you can even make one piece within one hour. As simple as that, you had already done a beautiful but less expensive blanket. The stuffs that you can buy in the stores are just almost all the same. Making your own personalized one is way much better. It is even possible to put the name of the baby. Looking for alternatives and using your ideas can help you in saving your money.
