One can consider ACIM or A Course in Miracles as a self-study material that can help individuals to regain peace and built up their mental strength. Later they also got the opportunity to meet Robert Skutch and Judith Skutch Whitson, members of the Foundation for inner peace. Then in the 1976 the first book was published, both the Foundation and Penguin Book publishers wanted to own the copyright for the material, however due to litigations the first edition of the book is still under public domain.
