By Ronald Ward

Dances are a source of enjoyment to many people, but to some, they consider it as a job opportunity. There are many music competitions that are organized in many palaces, and the rewards are huge enough to invite many contestants. The judging panel faces difficulties to decide on winners, and various adjudicators use different criteria to make their choices. This article covers qualities that judges should look for in dance competitions in New Jersey.

Most races are freestyles, and the participants are given the freedom to select the music that they want to play. Therefore, their choice should not only consider what they understand and dance they have to consider what is interesting for the crowd. They ought to not pay boring music or rhythms that will see the viewer dozing off.

The competition does not take a short time. It could continue for some period and the players cannot stop because they have no more moves. They should practice moving every minute that they are offered. They should take the prolonged time to ensure they bring out all the good styles they have. During the whole session, they have to be showing consistency.

The players should be strong and focused, and they must not rely on wrong moves they made they have to focus on the other sessions. Therefore, the team should learn to move on after they made mistakes. They should not think that the others are perfect. Even though they did not make a mistake on the same day, they could be prone to falling to the same problem another time.

Dances are an artistic task that requires the participants to come up with new styles every time they appear. If they do not change what they are doing all the times they face the crowd, they would become boring to watch. Therefore, they must be creative enough to ensure that they fascinate the viewers. Creating new dancing styles will also affect the movements of the day.

In case it is a dance group, they must work out together and have moves that are the same with a uniform arrangement. The judges should consider if they are moving together or some lack behind others. The gestures that are made should also be made in a togetherness manner.

The competition considers all factors, not even the minor reasons are left out they could be used to reduce the marks that you are to give. Therefore, consider the costumes that the teams are wearing. They must be uniform or made and colored differently with a purpose that affects the music and plays they are taking.

The team should express their feeling according to the play. If it is happy music, they must show the happiness. They should not choose mourning plays when all they are doing is making fun of the part. Also the way they express the body moves could aid in earning them more marks.
