The Many Historical Non Fiction Books

There are so many historical non fiction books to be located everywhere. People who want to know more about the history of their country would be very interested in finding many of these titles. Any local bookstore will be more than happy to show someone all of the selections.

Someone who has a unique interest in America during the days of slavery may want to read about Harriet Tubman. This woman has many selections written about her which are all very positive and educational. One manuscript titled "Moses" deals with her life and struggles.

Hebrews who were under the Pharaoh would indeed compare her to their new leader Moses. Moses was also a man who was determined to free his people from a life of injustice. The underground railroad was one mission that Ms. Tubman was able to build and complete before her life ended. Through this system she was able to free thousands of blacks from bondage.

Queen Elizabeth has been in control of England for decades and the title "The Real Elizabeth" celebrates her triumph. This is one strong woman that has always managed to keep her dignity even at the worst of times. She has great leadership skills that can be matched with any male on this planet.

The story shows what a truly remarkable person she really is and why her fellow countrymen love her so much. All of the family members are included in this manuscript which makes it so much more enjoyable to read. There are even some very memorable photos within this novel. Individuals can learn more about her relationships with Charles, Diana, Andrew and even Sarah Ferguson. People who would like to know more about the Royal Family may also want to check out the titles which feature the very popular Diana. "Princess Diana" is a manuscript for the true "Diana" fan.

For those individuals who are more than eager to learn about America's first President they can read "His Excellency." The story tells about George Washington's rise to fame and his days as President. People are always amazed about this man's fascinating life and his many accomplishments while leading the United States. Some may also find out about the negative things that this man did in his time at the White House. It is well known that President Washington also cheated on his wife several times.

Anne Frank was a very young Jewish girl who lived through a very horrible nightmare. She witnessed her family and friends being taken away by the Nazis to concentration camps. She managed to tell her story in a diary which became a novel called "The Diary of Anne Frank".

Historical non fiction books are quite important to have around. Young people everywhere need to know their history and which role everyone played in it. Sometimes bad history has a habit of repeating itself if people do not learn from it. These very famous figures are all considered positive role models even though each of them have good and bad points. This only shows that they are all truly human.
