Several different plans are available for funerals. Family policies provide cover of ten thousand rand. You also can choose a plan that will pay eighteen thousand. These plans cover you and your spouse.

Your family plan includes you children. In fact, it will provide protection for as many as 6 children. If you have children 14 or older they have the same cover as you and your spouse. You may have as much as 12,000 rand cover for kids age 6 to 13. Children younger than 5 years can receive 3500 cover and you will also have 1500 in case of a stillborn birth child.

Single parents can receive the benefits also. Cover and premiums are similar to those of family plans. Cover for extended family members is also available. There is a 60 day waiting period for those under 65 and 90 days for those over 65, and repatriation is not included.
