People will plant herbs in old tea cups or console jars. This will make a kitchen or bathroom homely and inviting.

Of course, this completely depends on your theme. When you have a minimalist theme in mind then you will want something that is more practical in approach. More and more people are finding that vertical walls work well, no matter what the theme is. This can consist of synthetic grass, herbs or easy to maintain plants and succulents.

Indoor planting has really taken off. However, the way you place this makes all of the difference. It can relate to the balance, the plants that you use, the flow and the layout. The containers will add the extra touch. This will often depend on your theme. For example, when you have a more formal theme, then you can't use recycled bottles and tins. It is best to select decorative and ornamental pots and vases. This will make a big difference.
