An Art Case Incorporates Style And Security

By Rodney Greyling

Bending or crinkling art work will ruin it forever. One bump or drink spill will ruin your laborous efforts. While soft sided portfolios do provide some protection fro your work, if you want the maximum protection you should consider using metal portfolios for your artwork or presentations.

Isn't your art worth the extra money for a sturdy metal case? Metal cases can offer you a lot in the way of security and style.

Make Your Art as Secure as Possible

It is very important that your artwork or presentations come out of your portfolio in the same condition they went in. Pulling crumpled, damaged art out to show a buyer or a customer does not bode well for your image. Leather, plastic or vinyl portfolio cases have some shortcomings when compared to metal cases.

Sometimes being careful is not enough to protect your artwork when you are carrying it around. If an accident is going to happen, it will always happen at the worst time imaginable. You are on your way to a big client for a job that could result in a large payday, and that is when the person walking by you on the street trips and falls right into your portfolio.

If you have one of the soft sided cases, your artwork may be ruined. However, if you were willing to spend a little extra to get a quality metal art portfolio, the contents inside would be kept safe from harm.

It is also possible that the day you are required to meet with the client for your big presentation is the day of the big rainstorm. While some of the less expensive cases may give you some limited protection from the weather it may not be enough when faced with a stronger rain. You are left with the option of risking your presentation, or trying to reschedule the meeting for a less rainy day. This situation is avoidable. You can improve the weather resistance of your case by choosing a metal case that has a good seal around the edges.

The Good Looks of Metal Cases

If you want to make a statement even before you open your case then you should consider a silver portfolio case. Just by looking at the case, people will know that your art is worth the best possible case to carry it in.

The world of art is a competitive place. Customers sometimes see several artists' presentation in just a few days. Image can sometimes be the only thing that separates one artist from another. One way you can stand out from the crowd is to carry a portfolio that is more stylish than the typical case that gets toted around to clients.

Meal cases are far superior to the other materials for the security of your materials and the image you project.
