It does not charge in my computer and must be charged in a wall. But a spare wall charger while you are at it if you want as well. The camera takes mediocre pictures. The day date has to be set every time the battery is changed. The first was a 7mp that unfortunately went missing. I purchased these cameras to carry with me pretty much full time when I'm out and about so I'll not miss a "photo of opportunity."
Phone is now dead as disco and the return labels have already been printed. That's too bad too, because I was very happy with the quality of the pictures and really liked the thought of shooting pictures under water. So all in all, I can't say that this camera was awful because it did have some pros that I think were beneficial to me and could be to other people. I bought this camera as a replacement for a compact point and shoot cannon. If you don't read the instructions, you have nothing to complain about as other reviewers have. This camera takes awesome photos. The camera never seems to struggle to adjust to get the best pictures as other point and shoots have for me in the past. Lastly the software that comes on the camera is very simple to use and not all extra complicated and filled with useless options. So, save your money and either buy another brand or just rent an underwater camera at one of the drive shops. When I got the camera in the mail I took it with me on a fishing trip.
Easy to carry, water proof to swimming depth, shock proof from kids height. A High quality camera that is easy to use, easy to carry around kids to get the once in a childhood shots I have only had the Tough 6020 for a few days. Shop around and you can get great prices! Took this camera on a trip to the Caribbean and was very happy with product until last day of trip when it stopped working on us after being in only 3 feet of water-seriously this is supposed to.
I also really like the rechargeable battery; just like my cell phone it charges as I have it plugged in to the USB port. I think it will pay for itself just in the battery savings alone. Operation is aggravating. My wife and I saw this camera in Best Buy and she really liked it. I have had this camera for only about a week and I love it! The pictures and movies are so clear.
I took the camera to a gym to take pictures and movies of my son playing floor hockey. The images are so disappointing.
Far away pictures looked soft and lacked any detail. Now granted this water park was indoors but it was fairly well lit so that's not an acceptable excuse.
