Do Real Supernatural Stories Exist

By Rebekah Alford

Do real supernatural stories really exist? This is one question that many people ask themselves. Most people are never sure whether to believe them or not. This is not surprising especially considering that, human beings like to believe only that which they have seen with their naked eyes. For many people it may hard to convince them that these stories are truly based on real life experiences.

Tales of ghosts are some of the best-known mystic tales. Ghosts are usually spirits of persons who are long dead. They are non-existent in reality but some people claim to see them. Many at times ghosts are known to taunt persons who had a hand in the death of the person the ghost represents. Many people believe in that ghosts do exist because they appear to them when they are fully awake. Many at times the ghost will wake them from their sleep and torture them in one way or the other.

Criminals convicted of murder are well known victims of the so-called haunting by the ghosts. There are even documented cases where a criminal has not been found guilty of committing the murder and he or she later comes out to confess that they actually committed the murder. Many at times those who do this claim that the ghosts of those they murdered do not let them have peace of mind until justice is served and the criminal are jailed for their crime.

Some of these tales have a religious twist to them. Many of the superhuman stories that have a religious background tend to involve visions from a divine being. Christians for example, claim that they have seen angels in their visions. Many at times, the angel is sent to pass a message to the believer form God. The message may be about an impending hazardous even t that is about to strike. Even with the mythical religious tales, there still is an element of doubt whether there really was an angelic visitation or not. In most cases, nobody is in a position to confirm or refute the claims.

There are several TV programs that are based on superhuman stories. It is a well-known fact that TV has great influence on life in the modern world. TV could be responsible for a number of people who believe in mystic tales. In most of these programs, the superhuman story is re-enacted to give a video impression of the events that took place in the story. Critics argue that these programs are only meant to make money and increase the ratings for the broadcasting company. They do not believe that the incidents carried on these programs are factual.

The tales have also found their way into bookshelves and bookstores. There are many books that give accounts of tales based on real life experiences where the characters had an encounter with the superhuman. A common topic in these books is the issue of Satanism. There is book after book that detail real life experiences of people who were once into Satanism but were able to find their way out.

Many at times, people who have been lucky to get out of Satanism will publish books detailing their experiences in a bid to warn others not to fall for the same trap. Again, there is no telling whether the accounts given in the books are fictitious or are based on real life experiences.

In general, the choice on whether to believe real supernatural stories or not, lies with the individual. Nobody can force one to believe these stories. The most one can do is share the story and leave the believing part to the listener.
