When first learning any application, or program, it is often best to run any tutorials which came with the product. Amateurs and professionals generally use a variety of different applications, programs and other tools to achieve artistic success. Depending on the photographer and whether photographs will remain in tact, or be revised into photo art can go along way in helping one decide which tools are necessary. Most often, those simply wanting to take and post pictures will be fine with basic camera editing software. On the other hand, artists, professionals and others who may want to change the dynamics of a photo, or, pull alternate images from one photograph may want to look at using these more advanced options.
