Updates On The George Lopez World Tour

Multi talented actor and comedian George Lopez has been in the limelight for several years now since the 80s. From standup comedy to television series to Hollywood films to late night talk shows, it seems that this man has already done it all. Now, in his website he just recently announced additional dates for his George Lopez world tour.

George is currently doing a comedy tour along with other comedians such as Eddie Griffin, D. L. Hughley, and Cedric The Entertainer. They have been around different arenas all across the United States. They also recently debuted their BET comedy series that was primarily based on their tour.

HBO released a promo video advertising his The Wall World Tour in which he mentioned he will tackle several societal issues that are rampant today. Based on the schedules found in his website, George would also be visiting Hawaii and Canada for the live tour. There are no further releases as of yet about stop over to other countries.

On November 23, Friday this year he is set to do his standup at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. He will appear also at the Abraham Chavez Theatre in the city of El Paso, Texas. By the second of December, he is known to be in Wagner Noel PAC at Midland.

Also, George will be stopping by at Canada for their comedic tour in Ontario at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. Most of his schedule tours for the remaining schedules for this year is back and forth between Texas and California. His last stop for 2018 is at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

As reflected on his website, he will be primarily at Las Vegas at The Mirage doing his live shows from June to August of next year. The actor will also appear in the movie that will later be released this year called River Runs Red along with other actors John Cusack and Taye Diggs. His production for the movie, Walking with Herb will soon commence which was based from a novel.

He was famous for his self entitled sitcom which he produced along with Sandra Bullock, Bruce Helford and Robert Borden was aired in 2002. The plot of the series was about his life working and raising his children with his wife. The whole series lasted for six seasons and was televised on ABC Network.

The comedian hosted his self titled late night television talk show called Lopez Tonight on TBS Network back in 2009. He had numerous famous guests that appeared on the show such as Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Kobe Bryant, and the current U. S. President, Donald Trump. In 2011, it received a Telly Award for TV programs, segments or promotional pieces film or video comedy and an ALMA award for favorite TV Reality or Comedy Personality or Act.

The show was actually cut short and only lasted for two seasons. The network announced that they will be no longer extending the talk show due its low ratings since from the first season. Several reports has also said that the show Lopez was hosting was just a test to see how the network will top along with other networks when it comes to late night shows.
