I don't get the chance to travel to other countries nearly as much as I'd like. It can be very expensive, both in time and money, but I do try to see other places any time that I have the opportunity. It can really open your eyes to see other cultures compared to your own.
I've visited quite a few different countries in my life, as I'm always open to experiencing new places. I also plan on seeing many more countries in my life. There's one place, however, that always stands out among all the different areas that I've seen.
Taking a trip to Spain two years ago, I was consistently amazed by everything about the country. It is, by far, my favorite country that I've been to.
Located in Southern Europe, Spain has a one-of-a-kind culture that can't be found anywhere else. It has a lot to offer visitors; here are just a few of its great qualities and locations.
The country has coasts on its South and East sides, with the Mediterranean Sea lying out to the East. There are some beautiful port towns, like Barcelona and Valencia, and there are great beaches all along the coastal regions as well.
Not to be outdone, the Southern boundary of Spain is called the Costa del Sol and also offers miles of gorgeous beaches. It's also peppered with beautiful resort towns like Marbella.
Though the beaches were incredible, my favorite part of Spain is still Madrid. Fusing the convenience of a modern city with traditional Spanish culture, the city offers a very authentic representation of the Spanish experience.
Madrid has a bustling nightlife, along with great restaurants and shopping locations. You'll never find yourself bored when visiting the city.
These are just a few of the attractions in Spain; there are many more exciting places to see, and I plan on discussing them more in the future. You really can't go wrong visiting Spain - it's a beautiful country and you're guaranteed to love it.
