New names in the film world are nothing new. There are so many people that come and go that the public do not always take notice, at least not at first. Fabiola Sicily is one of those newcomers destined to make a mark. Most people recognize her for her role in the Disney film Prom, playing the role of Jessica. Since then, however, she has been very busy indeed.
From an early age she dreamed of performing in front of the world and took acting, singing and dancing classes to further that dream and to hone her skills. She was born and raised in Indonesia and after performing in a number of plays there she decided to gamble and to move to California. This most certainly proved to be a turning point for her.
It did not take her long to gain the attention of the public when she appeared in the television series Everyone Wants Theirs. Not long after that she starred in We Burning Up and Joey, both from the Disney studio. From there onwards she progressed to roles in Tattoo, Omission and What Goes Around Comes Around. Even in these early times she was recognized as a rising star.
Even when she started to receive acclamations for her acting ability, she continued to brandish her other talents. She has completed several photographic shoots for various magazines and she has appeared in several music videos with, amongst others, Mick Jagger, VS Numbers and Michael Buble. She has even tried her hand at dubbing, bringing to life the character of the Princess in the movie Mongol Rise Genghis Kahn.
In her latest role the 2013 movie A Malibu Horror Story, she plays the role of Erica. She shares the screen with Rick Chambers, Parker Croft, Emily Mest and Charlie Farr, amongst others. Previews have been received very favorably. In 2012 she played the teenage bank robber in the television movie Teenage Bank Heist. Hollywood rumors have it that she has been offered several exciting new roles.
It is certainly true that this relative new artist is attracting a lot of attention from the media, the public and even from other players in the film industry. Her quick success is said to be attributable to her work ethics and her willingness to learn. Insiders say she is a pleasure to work with and that she is not a typical prima donna.
It seems that almost everybody in the film industry, including the cynics and the critics agree that this young lady has a very bright future ahead of her. She herself refuses to commit herself except for saying that she will pursue all opportunities that allow her to grow as an actress, as a dancer and as a performer, regardless of the genre or medium.
Fabiola Sicily is not an overnight success, as some people will have everybody believe. She has achieved her present status as a rising superstar with hard work and dedication. She has pursued her goals from a very early age and she did not allow circumstances to deviate her from her dream. These qualities will probably see her to the top in the near future.
