By Jonas Fredrickson

When hunting for family fun, there's a great collection of amusement parks, water parks, and theme parks in San Jose. The Zoo in San Jose is rather more like a theme park with fun rides, day camps for kids, together with fun discovering experiences for kids of any age. There's things to do suitable for everybody in the amusement parks in San Jose.

Raging Waters

The best of the San Jose water parks is Raging Waters is a 23 acre water park filled amazing water slides, a massive wave pool, and something fun for the whole family. Bombs Away is a different body slide as the ride starts 5 stories above Lake Cunningham after you step into an enclosed capsule. Once sealed within the capsule, the trap floor opens, you free fall, and drop into the 200 foot slide. There are five tube slides that twist and turn down as much as 7 floors. Non-thrill hunters will enjoy the Activity Pool ideal for the whole family, the Unending Stream where you float on a tube down the river and through waterfalls. Become a pirate at Pirate's Cove where you climb load nets and shoot water cannons. The 350,000 gallon Wave Pool is ideal for riding swells and body surfing. The Tiny Dipper and Wacky Water Works are two attractions where the little kids can enjoy water play safely. When hunger strikes after water play the whole family can break or dine on everything from funnel cakes to pizza at any of the dining places inside the park. San Jose water parks are the perfect place to play in the summertime.

Emerald Hills Golfland
