Weekly Movie Reviews Are In High Demand

By Tara Daniels

All people love a good movie. Whether young, old, religious or not, man or woman, we all enjoy entertainment in this form. They can be serious, funny, documentary or fictional, yet they have prevailed over the years. This is why weekly movie reviews are so high in demand.

The entertainment industry is moving at a rapid pace and so is technology. Every week new films are being released. Production houses, script writers and independent film makers are constantly inventing new work. There is a myriad of stories to be told and waiting to come alive on the screen.

Huge epic tales like Avataar and Titanic wowed crowds with their grandeur of visual effects, costume and acting. With every blockbuster the stories become more gripping, the actors become more talented and the effects become more awe inspiring. There is no end to what can be achieved in this wonderful world that bring the imagination to life.

Previews are extremely important as they give audiences an idea of what to expect before seeing a particular film and help them to decide what to watch and what not to watch. There are a few who may choose to take a risk by going to see a movie they know nothing about, but the majority prefer to have a sneak preview. Once they know who acts in it, what the genre is and what the story is about, they are better informed and can avoid disappointment.

In addition to previews the actual weekly movie reviews are equally important because they provide insight from the perspective of an objective viewer who has already seen it. Whether it is written by a critic or an ordinary person, these write ups can tell us what to expect and what the good and bad points were of the feature. They provide entertaining opinion reading and can sway the readers decision about whether or not to watch it.

Those who go to the cinema regularly will know all about weekly write ups. They seek them out to find out what to expect from new releases. These reviews are freely accessible to all members of the public and are most often found in newspapers, magazines or entertainment websites.

Movie reviews have the power to influence audiences in drastic ways. If a film gets a very poor write up in a paper, it will be hot gossip the next day and the critics words will spread like wild fire. No one will want to watch a feature that gets a very bad review. Good write ups get good followings and this can help to boost box office sales. They can sometimes be very harsh and even ruin an actors entire career. Yet for some reason, these reviews carry great influence with the public and viewers always look to them and trust their words.

Weekly movie reviews are and will always be an intricate part of the cinema industry. They carry or break films. They tell us what to expect and set us up for suspense and wonderful viewing. They tickle our anticipation and create hype which is good for promoters. Find them online or in local newspapers every week and be well informed the next time you buy your movie ticket.
