Greeting Cards

By Ernest Moore

Many people give out greeting cards for all sorts of reasons. Some people give them out for birthdays and some for holidays. However, there's no reason why you can't give greeting cards for any old reason. For instance, if you haven't seen a friend in a while and would just like to reconnect like old times, send them a greeting card. Greeting cards are thoughtful, they tell the other person you've been thinking about them, and they are relatively inexpensive. All in all, if you're looking to save money but would still like to do something nice for someone, whether it's a special occasion or not, simply start giving out greeting cards.

Is there a formula for finding those special gifts for her? Perhaps not an equation like E = MC, but some good old-fashioned detective work might just be the solution. You can find cards for all occasions, such as Get Well, Happy Birthday, Happy Mother's as well as Father's day, and much more. You can find funny greeting cards as well as serious ones, pretty much any kind you can think of. You should have no problem finding the perfect greeting cards for the people on your list.

This may be the time to make like jolly Saint Nick with that list; create a shopping helper for you, and keep it on-hand.Simply ask everyone you know what their address is and keep it in a safe book. It might also be a good idea to put some notes next to each person, such as the person's birth date, or any other date which you would like to send that person a card.

Another idea is to create a personalized gift for her. A home made gift basket of her favorite bath products, luxurious sponges, and candles shows that you are paying attention to little details. It shows you care about that person and it's so much cheaper than buying an actual gift.

It has been a long running joke about men their propensity for buying bad gifts for her. Popular television sitcoms show the husband either completely forgetting the holiday/birthday/anniversary, or scrambling around at the last second for a hastily thrown together present.
