Getting to Know the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy

Providing performing arts classes, the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy endows dance, music and drama classes to their students. Indeed, their approach gave bright futures to everyone enrolling in this institution.

Dance - The Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy implemented dance classes when it became an affiliate to the Conservatory of Music and Dance. This institution began in 1989 where it provides different classes in dancing. These classes include pointe, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and even modern. Aside from the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy, the institution also took in other studios like Eagleville and Harleysville.

Through ballet classes, every talented student is given the opportunity to become a member of the Ballet Concerto, an influential school of ballet. Furthermore, students participating in dance classes at the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy are also given the privilege to partake in different dance events like recitals and team scrimmages.

Music - In order to maximize the music lessons being taught in this school, students are strongly suggested to have enough self-confidence and never stop practicing. Various playing instruments like guitar, violin, piano and viola are being taught to students on how to use them. Aside from these lessons, even children are being offered with music classes.

While classes are ongoing, students are given ample time to practice what they have learned as well as letting their instructors evaluate them. Moreover, they are also offered the opportunity to play the instruments during recitals where they get to perform in front of the audience.

Theater - the theater department of Pennsylvania performing arts academy also offers improvisation, adult theater classes, musical theater auditioning, character development and theater games. The three studios of the school have different class schedules. When one enrolls in the theater class of Pennsylvania performing arts academy, they will have the chance to audition in several prestigious theater plays such as the Beauty and the Beast.

School Registration

Since there is a limit to the number of students who can enroll in this school, pre-registration is recommended to each individual who wants to study here. Of course, it is also mandatory to complete the registration form.

Additionally, there are required class dresses which can be purchased in various dancewear supply shops. Jewelry, gum, food or watches are not allowed during arts classes. Students are required to carry bottled water, tagged with their name. The school also gives private lessons, depending on the arrangement.
