Do you require a Birmingham Magician?

By Evelyn Bishop

Are you currently planning a corporate event for your company? If so there are many different things to consider. You will need a great venue and some fabulous entertainer. Obviously a singer or band is a good addition but a Birmingham magician is an ideal solution for your entertainment needs. As a professional, I'm here to help guide you through this planning stage to ensure a successful event.

One of the most important considerations bar none is the hiring of a quality entertainer. You should definitely consider a Birmingham magician. Finding the right one for your event isn't that hard if you follow these steps. Check for testimonials and feedback from previous clients. Are these video testimonials or written? Do they have hard copies on corporate letter headed paper? If not, why not? All professional entertainers should have testimonials that they are proud of. If there's none on their site, it's a good indication that they don't perform very often.

Once you have found a Birmingham magician that appeals, check to see what performance options they offer. Most professionals will offer a variety of different services to fit the majority of events. One popular service that a Birmingham magician may offer is a walk around or mingling service. Some may prefer to perform stand up and perform for the whole group. Discuss this with your entertainer to find out what's the best option for you.

So hopefully you have decided upon a performance option for your Birmingham magician and no its time to enquire about cost. A good quality Birmingham magician will charge in the region of 400 for an excellent walk around set. If you have decided upon a cabaret or after dinner show the price is usually over double that of walk around. Contact your magician and get an accurate quote. If they come back with a much cheaper price, it's usually an indication of a sub standard performer.

One important point to remember when booking your Birmingham magician is that it's not a retail sale. Cheaper does not necessarily mean a bargain, more often than not the cheaper magicians are cheaper for a reason. They just aren't good enough! By undercutting your competition they are an appealing option but 9 times out of 10 the client (you) will regret hiring a substandard performer. It is also bad for the industry and it leaves a negative impression on the rest of the magicians out there.
