Divine Expression And What It Means

By Jennie Sandoval

To express divinity does not mean that you are better than your fellow human beings. It also does not mean that you have to separate yourself from the rest of humanity to pursue this. It does mean that you have recognized that you consist of far more than just your physical body. You have made a decision to become all that you can be. Divine expression comes when you fully know and express this through your being.

Our existence as social and physical beings often obscures and clouds our true expression. Fear, hate, lack, anger and worry need to be replaced with grace, abundance, love, peace and joy. This is often easier said than done. We are all affected by our subconscious minds which have a great influence on our lives.

It is possible to reprogram our subconscious minds. In order to do this and to find clarity, the negativity has to be cleared out first. Sometimes we have patterns of behavior and beliefs which come from our past that we are not even aware of. These beliefs weaken us and draw our energy. We need to become recoded and aligned with love and light instead.

One of the ways in which we can begin to unlock our true potential is with meditation. Meditation allows us to become less self focused and more in touch with a higher consciousness. There are many different techniques used for meditation. Ancient ones as well as modern ones may be combined. Meditation helps us go to a place of safety and peace where we can be more receptive.

Once we open up for the manifestation of divinity, we will find many changes taking place in the different areas of our lives. Health, relationships, finances and self expression are all affected by a new sense of harmony and balance. Many obstacles that stood in the way of wholeness give way and instead there is a flow.

As we quieten our minds, connect with our hearts and listen, we allow this energy to be expressed through us and our purpose in life begins to unfold. We no longer lead a meaningless existence but connect with our destiny. Every person is a piece of the puzzle and has a place that only he or she can fill. Once we are sure of our purpose, we are empowered to serve.

Living life fully involves sharing our gifts freely and receiving freely too. We never know when we are able to provide guidance and healing for someone else or when we will receive the same in return. We all share that spark of the divine and have that love within. We can choose to radiate that light to the extent that we allow it to shine through us.

Divine expression occurs naturally when it is not obscured and clouded by our social and physical existence. We can make a decision to allow the energy of God to flow through us fully, freely and powerfully. Various spiritual practices, such as meditation, can help to encourage this.
