Fantastic Things To Do In Tokyo

By Travis Ignatius Xavier

If you like traveling, then you are in good company. Many people enjoy taking a week or two off work and hitting the road. Some people enjoy taking short trips that aren't far from home. Others enjoy going clear across the country to find their delight. Many people believe that in order to get the most pleasure for your vacation, traveling abroad is the only way to do it.

Of course, there are plenty of countries to visit. When most people choose a place to visit for the first time, they choose a place where English is widely spoken, if not the main language. While this can be exciting, it is still safely inside your comfort zone. If you really want to create an experience, consider traveling somewhere where English is not spoken very much. One such place is Tokyo, Japan.

When you visit Tokyo, you will see that it is truly a world class city. You can expect first class hotels, restaurants, and especially customer service. The hospitality industry in Japan is matched by no other country. You will experience a level of politeness that you simply won't get anywhere else.

One more reason why so many people love Tokyo is the public transportation system. The taxis are clean and comfortable, and the subways are safe and always on time. You will not find a public transportation system in the world that rival's that of Tokyo.

The temples in Tokyo are absolutely beautiful. When many people think of Japanese temples, they think of Kyoto, but there are plenty to see in Tokyo. Many have been there for hundreds of years, and you can easily slip away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy some contemplative time alone.

Naturally, when you visit Tokyo, you must check out a Sumo match. This ancient tradition is a combination of religion and sport. If you manage to see a live event, you will see first hand a part of Japanese culture that has gone back hundreds of years.

So you see, Tokyo is a place that everybody should visit. All you've got to do now is pack your bags, and make your travel arrangements.
