YAMAHA 01V96i: Your Requests Turned To Reality

The Yamaha 01V series has been used for just every application possible and now it set to welcome another member to its versatile family, the 01V96i.

According to Yamaha, this particular console is the answer to the growing demand for high quality multi-track recording and playback in many applications. It is also an addition to their continuous expanding lines of affordable, live sound and recording/production solutions.

The over-all layout of the 01V96i is as intuitive as its predecessors so if the users have owned or previously used one of them, they will comfortably with this one as well.

This 40-channel console also features 16 analogue inputs including 12 mic/line XLR inputs and 4 additional line-level inputs that can be paired to form two stereo inputs. Moreover, it carries the ability to record resolutions with numbers up to 94kHz at 24-bit.

More on this console's possible connections: there are eight auxiliaries and eight mix buses while the desk additionally features a master output fader and the possibility of four more internal effects engines.

The 01V96i's software also allows operators to work in Layers, with the first controlling inputs 1-16, the second 17-32, while the Master Layer brings auxiliary and bus control to the faders, all providing one with the amazing opportunity to drive effects and groups in the very same way he would to all the individual channels.
